Hello everyone)
Generally speaking, in any area where such activities are popular, you will have no difficulty renting and a guide is often not necessary.
Last month I was in Davos, Switzerland for example, where hiking and mountain biking are popular. There would be no problem renting at all and no need for a guide.

OldPro,
Appreciate your reply)
Just wonder what are the average prices of renting a bike and other gear in the places where you have been?
I thought I could rent it from locals over internet with less price instead of going to a rental store.
Did you consider other renting options?
Thanks.
I didn't rent but presumably if you look at the rental shops own websites or give them a Skype call, you will get the rental prices easily enough.
As for renting from a local, I'd expect that to be more hassle than it's worth even assuming you could find anyone who would rent you their own bike. I certainly wouldn't rent you my bike. You fall, blame the brakes on my bike and sue me. No thanks. Rental companies have insurance to cover them from that, I don't. They also maintain their rental items to avoid that possibility. What some individual who rents you his old bike does, you don't know. Wanna risk a brake cable failure on an alpine downhill trail?
