I'm travelling alone for the first time and am a bit scared. I'm 18 and from Brighton and am planning on arriving in Melbourne in November and working there for a month, before moving onto Sydney for a few weeks over Xmas and New year
From there, I'm planning on travelling up the East Coast, ( Sydney - Gold Coast - Fraser Island - Brisbane - Sunshine Coast - Airline Beach - Cairns) and finish in Cairns at the beginning of April.

I'm planning to move on from Melbourne to Sydney for Xmas and New Year, then leave early Jan and travel up the East Coast, finishing in Cairns at the end of April, what about you?

I was planning to fly into Melbourne as that's where my mate is staying atm, so if he's still there come November then I'll fly to there. But then I'm going to do the same as you and get up to Sydney for Xmas and New Years, and make my way up to the great barrier reef. Be good to travel up with someone if both our timing works out.
No, I need to book loads still. I was probably going to book the hostel for Melbourne when I'm Thailand as I'll have a better idea of when I'll be in Oz. I've got a list of Hostels for Oz I can give to you if you need them?

I'm going to book into Base hostel is Sydney before the end of the week I think for Xmas and New Year before it sells out.

Hey Erkan I haven't got anything planned! Just looking for work and see what happens really not making any definite plans because they always change! I'm as same as you, I've still got loads to book I haven't even thought about booking hostels for Xmas and NY yet! It's making me nervous ahhh lol!
