I don't understand, why every other person talks about the Moon party, I searched out and been but sort of couldn't find anything special and just another hype. Just my two cents.. probably some people might have a different opinion....
can't but agree with vaibhavm23. seems like this full moon party is in every tourist comment and guide-book, because whoever is planning to visit thailand, keeps including it in their plans. same story with kaosan road in bkk. just a crowd of drunk foreigners, loud places with the prices triple higher than at a normal eating/drinking place, those buckets of cheap low quality mixture and all those vendors, sticking to you every 30 seconds. but tourists keep going there again and again.

I'm planning to travel Thailand near 5 October.
