Nice one on booking! Was it expensive? I keep hearing the hostels are expensive in Sydney around that time, I will be about in Sydney that sort of time in my camper,

I would try and make sure you get a room thats not right above the club thats next door the scary canary or you wont get much sleep on you stay unless thats what your hoping. Rooms are good but cramped its one of the better ones though thats for sure!

I liked the Scary Canary though! And Base isn't too bad really, but as the previous poster says a bit cramped. Still great location.
PS - glad to see there is another big Everton fan on these boards Mollie!

Base is quite a reasonable sized hostel, over about three of four floors as far as I remember and there are a whole number of dorms, can't remember how many exactly, but certainly far more than one each. The Scary Canary bar it is attached to is good fun too.

Hi Rich, are you hiring a camper or buying one, i will be in Sydney with my mate for NYE and then travelling for a month before i head home and my mate carries on. Just working out if its best to buy or rent a camper.
