Hi fellow travellers in November I am travelling alone to Australia, staying for 3weeks I am 48 and have a very young outlook, however I wish to meet up with like minded people of a loosly similar age, im in Sydney first can anyone suggest a suitable hostel that isnt going to be all night parties every night!!!! Also other than wanting to climb the bridge I have no real plans until week 3 when im meeting an old school friend on the Gold coast..... should I have a structured plan or go with the flow and see who I meet ??Any advice will be greatly appreciated
Thank you
Hi. I can't tell you personally but from the people I have spoken to I think they are all pretty good. I think if you pay more you can get your own room or at least share with other females. Look on www.hostelbookers.com
You can't go wrong with the YHA chain of hostels they are all very very good and if you become a member you get cheap rates and discounts at near enough every tourist attraction going
I agree with Adam, I think YHA are your best bet. Usually a good standard of hostel and they cater for a slighty older clientele.
stayed at bounce sydney last year when i was there alone. common ages were 18-20ish, although there was a 37 year old aldy with us and she was totally cool as well. check it out
