Ah I haven't made the step of booking anything yet hoping to find someone to travel with first! Yeah going to look for work when I'm out there, not to sure yet probably be starting in Melbourne as well though, where you from? Have you booked any accommodation ready? Or you just finding somewhere to stay when you get there? X

I've booked my first ten nights at Nomads All Nations in Melbourne and then I'm gonna decide whether to book anymore accommodation there. Ideally I'd love to find some people doing a similar thing to me to get a flatshare with.
I know what you mean - I was going to wait to find someone but I just decided to book it ! I've heard that loads of people go it alone!!

I'm looking to go to Australia beginning of Feb 2014. Haven't booked it yet but I have a flight on hold, also looking for someone like minded to go & travel with.
I land in Sydney though, then i'm not sure where i'd want to travel to - thinking of doing 'OzIntro' for the first week if I haven't found someone to go with, then either finding work or travelling elsewhere.
My flight also includes LA & Miami on the way home... can't wait.
Let me know if you have similar plans for Aus.
