Switzerland

Matt70_2 has indicated that this thread is about Geneva

You mean in Switzerland or in whole Europe?

Switzerland and the surrounding areas. Really interested in north Italy, east France and southern Germany and anywhere in Switzerland. . I don't just mean the big cities but the little gems that you won't find in a lonely planet book.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Not really sure about the East of France or much of Switzerland, but some nice places you might want to visit in southern Germany can be Prien for the Chiemsee, lakes and the Alps, and Ulm which is a Latin city with a great cathedral. With the recent flooding though it might be hard to get there or you might have to take some detours. Hope that helps!

I haven't explored that much East of France, but in North of France the Atlantic coast is really beautiful. I would recommend you to go to Bretagne and Normandy, although they are in West of France. Also the Loire Valley is a place you should visit.

Switzerland and France are such a great place no doubt. But if you some more budget, then I will recommend you to go SCOTLAND. Scotland is full of historial castles and full of breath taking natural beauty. Give it a try and I am sure that you will definitely like SCOTLAND.

Of course Switzerland is great place & In my other views i like Thailand also.

There are alot of places that you can visit but I have here my list of favorite places in Switzerland.

1. Seven Springs-sources of the Simme River- The waterfalls cascading over rocks that are several meters high are definitely worth a visit. The Simme's springs and rapids are considered to be places of special power.

2.Staubbach Falls- is the second highest waterfall in Switzerland. In the summer warm winds swirl the waters around, so that the Falls spray in all directions. These droplets of water spray gave the brook and the waterfall its name. (Staub = dust)

3. Giessbach Falls and Hotel Giesbach- The Giessbach brook has its source in the high valleys and basins of the Faulhorn-Sägis Valley and feeds the world famous Giessbach Falls, which tumble into Lake Brienz near the landing stage.

4. Reichenbach Falls and Roselaui- The Rosenlaui Glacier, located to the south of Meiringen, in the canton of Bern, might be small, since it has an area of only six square kilometers, but thanks to this glacier two beautiful natural attractions have come into being - Glacier Gorge Rosenlaui and the world-famous Reichenbach Falls.

These are the places that I can recommend you. Enjoy your trip Matt!
