It's not very obvious, but when you're in the list view, you can actually drag and drop the individual messages. So, in the trash list view, drag the title of the PM to your "Personal" folder, and drop it when the background of that line shows up blue.
(What I'm curious about is how you got a message in that folder in the first place without knowing about drag and drop, since it's not a folder which exists by default, and the only way to move messages that I know about is that drag and drop system...)

I guess I did just that with that post (which includes the link to the photos to moderate), but that has been several years ago or so.

The dragging might not be fully cross browser compatible, though it is kind of strange as I'd actually expect your browser at home is newer than the one at work?
Yep, indeed newer at home, so don't understand it to be honest.
Something else is strange: i did send a link to myself and I can not remove that one from my inbox. If I delete it, and go back to the inbox, it is there again. Can not drag that one either.
You can send PM's to yourself?! Now that I did not know!
I just tried this myself, but deleting it just removed it. Well, I deleted it after opening the message (not using the little delete icon in the inbox)... does that work?
