Hi I am actually thinking of doing something similar im a 26 yo female from aus .
i'll be over there already but my friends go home in july so im solo for all of august. 23 from aus. keen on la tomatina and turkey too.

So still deciding on my itinery (open to suggestions), I'm planning on leaving mid/late July and where I'll start off will depend on wherever the cheapest flight gets me (I want to get a round the world ticket).
I will definitely be in Spain for LaTomatina and in Barcelona the week before, does this line up with your plans Elisen? Do you know where else you'll be in August? Re. turkey - I found a reasonably priced GAdventures tour (goes to Cappadocia, Pammuleke) and I'll either go beginning of August or mid October depending on where I land.
Debbie - do you have an idea of where you'll be/route etc? Would be awesome to tag along for part of your trip! I think I want to do part busabout/part train - my friends went on busabout last year and had an awesome time but they've said trains might be slightly cheaper/central location.

The bus about thing looks great, were u thinking tour or bus pass? My route is saved on my profile map. Just a loose route though. Thinking starting in Edinburgh, Dublin,Newcastle,London, then I don't know wether to go Paris or Amsterdam. Will prob make a few adjustments! If u can't see the map let me know . I'm so excited about this trip already ha ha...

I was thinking of getting a busabout flexitrip (just the bus pass). It stops at most of the places on your profile map but kinda in the opposite direction.
Do you know whether you want to be in any particular place at a certain date i.e. munich oktoberfest?
Will let you know of my travel plans once they firm up, but yea looks like we have a couple of mutual places we'd like to go too! So hopefully some of the dates can coincide!
Hey no idea what dates yet although pretty flexible. Will be doing the Uk/Ireland thing first and prob finish in Poland/Germany will let u know tho when I have confd dates also

Turkey really depends on whether I can meet some people and just tag along with them as I really don't want to go on my own! The Turkey sail on Bus about looks amazing though. My timing would probably suit beginning of August though as I want to spend a week and a half in London before I go home.
You guys should have a look at Mont Blanc circuit, not sure if it suits your timing but looks amazing. I am doing it with 2 friends, its an 8 day trek! Going to be interesting!

I googled the Mont Blanc circuit and it looks awesome - are you and your friends doing it yourselves or through a tour (if a tour do you mind if I ask which one, I was thinking of maybe doing G adventures).
