I will be traveling to Thailand soon, I don't have an dates set I prefer to make it up as I go. Originally I was going to fly there, but since I have no time line, and always wanted to try it, I figured hitchhiking to Thailand could be fun and interesting. So does anyone have any advise for me, like do I need visas to hitchhike though a country or do they just give me a few days to get though their country. I will be starting in the north of England, I don't really mind which route I take, direct preferable cause I really what to see Thailand soon, but a few detoured wouldn't hurt. Also, I don't know yet but I might take a flight somewhere along the road, so where would be the cheapest place to do it, I'm thinking maybe over Iran and those places to avoid those conflicts and stuff, but I don't know. Any help would be awesome, and thanks in advance.
