3 weeks in thailand

hi i am planning my trip to thailand on the 6tH of feb for 3 weeks and would really like some HELP!!!!
this is my plan from start to finish Bangkok, chaing mai ,phuket, phi phi ,ko samui ,ko phngan
i just want to no what is the best way to get from place to place and can you pre book the night train
and SHOULD you pre book accomodation? any help would be greatly appriciated thankyou

Well to start with, there is plenty of accom. at the places you have listed. If you have researched websites with accom. reviews & decided you want to stay at a particular place then I would have your previous accom. ring (offer to pay for the ph call) & book a few days in advance, otherwise just turn up & look around.

For transport options just google transport from one place to the next. Info on all the options is available on various sites.

A typical route would be (putting plane travel aside):

Bangkok - Chiang Mai - Bangkok: overnight train 2nd class aircon (my preference) but bus by day or overnight also an option.

Bangkok - Phuket: overnight train to Surat Thani then bus/minvan to Phuket or overnight bus option.

Phuket - Phi Phi: minivan/boat combo booked through any travel agent in Phuket.

Phi Phi - Koh Samui: boat to Krabi then probably a minivan service to Donsak for the ferry over to Koh Samui.

Koh Samui - Koh Phangan: very short boat trip.

Given you only have 3 weeks I would consider flying the Bangkok to Phuket leg & the Koh Samui to Bangkok leg. These 2 flights will save you a lot of time.

Access the travel blogs site & read how others travelled & how long it took from place to place. I know my preferences but I continue to read blogs as they can be a good source of info.

This should get you started on your research. Your options & people's reviews/opinions are freely available on the internet. Good luck & safe travels.

Thankyou so much a great help

I am flying into bankok on Feb 4th would you be interested in meeting or travelling together
