I'm traveling out in march with a mate, Slightly nervous but cannot wait, I've heard off a few people that intro tours are a waste of money, I'm going to brisbane first and traveling down part of the east coast for a around a month.
Then me and my mate are looking to do the 88 days rural work for the 2nd years working visa.
hope you have a good adventure, Will be good to meet up at some point.

That sounds good, yeah i'm planning on do the fruit picking/rural work too to get my second year visa, it will be a right laugh, guna do it in a few different cities. Working outside in ridiculous weather, earning lots of money is deffo the way forward haaaaa!! Have u looked into the rural work then? What's the pay rate like?
Hope you have a mint time with your mate, yeah that would be good to meet up if we are in similiar places
It will be a spur of the moment thing for me, i'll just book a flight for Melbourne and go the next day haha!! Love not planning makes it even more exciting ahhhhh!!

I know i cannot wait. Just over 8 weeks. Yeah the plan is to go for as long as possible only got a one way flight, Going to try and play football out there earn a bit of money hopefully from that.
I heard that its pretty easy to get work out there fruit picking, Most hostels have jobs going and also word of mouth as well when out there.
I know i wouldn't even mind picking fruit in ridiculous heat earning a wedge ha. I think most farms are different with wage, Most pay by bucket, but then some pay by by hour just depends how lucky you get!
We don't really have a plan like.. the best plan is to have no plan ha! Were deffo gonna travel the east coast though hopefully spend next Xmas and NY in sydney!
I'm sure you'll have a great time. When i find rural work i will let you know on this whats best places to go hopefully give you some options when booking your flights

Forgot to mention, Yes i'm staying in hostels. All throughout my trip. Going to an Island just off Brisbane called Moreton Island which looks like paradise so going to be camping on the beach ha

Fruit picking/farm work will be good laugh haaa, working in that heat, earning money n getting a tan sounds good to me.
Morton Island sounds amazing, i wanna camp on a beach too. Heard Fraser Island is mint for camping too, yeah i'm stoping in hostels through my trip too.
Whitsunday sounds amazing so i wanna go there.

Yeah that's exactly my thoughts, working int he sun earning a fortune getting a tan and have some banter.
I cant wait to go there just gonna be paradise for 10 days. Yeah were going to do Whitsundays and travel to Fraser island as well. Cant miss Whitsundays heard a lot about it.
