Netbook when Backpacking

Hi Guys,

Hello, i was thinking the same when i was about to go traveling. I never took one in the end. I got to the hostel and everyone had them, including a lot of macbooks! so in the end i bought one. Most hostels have lockers so just buy an 11" or something. but you can always buy one abroad like me. but there are more in england for better prices. hope i helped

and im sitting in a hostel right now and can see 8 netbooks/laptops!

Hey

buy netbook! :D
- you upload your photos
- you can write a blog from your journey (which I highly recommend). Great way of saving memories and also communicate with everyone who's concerned if you're still alive (as long as you update it every couple days)
- battery life in most netbooks is 4-5 hours so it gives you a chance to watch a movie or two when you're in the road.
- free wi-fi gives you free internet access whenever you want - and this might be really helpful. Booking tickets, booking hostels, checking bank account(!) :D checking the weather etc.

I always travel with my netbook and don't think you should be worried of it being stolen. Mine spent with me 6 weeks in Asia (Thailand, Laos, Malaysia). Don't even remember hiding it to much.

Hope you find it useful
Take care,
Martta
