though a series of very fortunate events I ended up with a two part ticket to anywhere in the world. I plan on leaving as soon as possible but I'm not sure as to where I want to go yet. I know that with the second part of the ticket I'm flying to Europe and spending 4-5 months there, but I don't want to go there first because I want to be there while it's warm. I know I definitely want to go somewhere hot. I was thinnking of backpacking across south Africa but I want to hear what you guys think.
It's a bit of a wide open question, so help us with some clues - where you're from, where you've already been, what you're hoping to see and do?
If you want Europe in the warm, maybe that means you want warm now too. So maybe NZ or Aus or Patagonia or ...
Easter Island's ordinarily an expensive place to get to so maybe use it for that or similar?
I'm a young canadian female. I just got home from living in Japan and I'm definitely wanting to go somewhere warm- I hate the cold winters.
I'm not looking to go anywhere in Asia, NZ or aust (going there in 2014), ive been all around the usa, and I already have Europe in my plans for this trip (although I would love to hear about certain places in Europe you think I should go while I'm there!).
Ill definitely look into Patagonia and Easter island though! Never would have thought of those. Thank you
