Older traveller seeks companion for rural Turkey October

I'm hoping to find an intelligent companion for occasional sharing of meals, walks, travels in rural Turkey
this autumn. So far, I have thought about being based in Edirne (good on museums and not full of tourists) but would welcome
other ideas. I only have a week. Could share petrol costs if a car were involved. I speak reasonable Bulgarian if anyone wanted to cross the border.
