Hi, I plan to travel to the Galapagos isl in May 2013. I have 2 weeks and want to see as much wildlife as possible. Should I take a cruise on one of the tour boats or Base at a hotel on the main isl.

I'm having the same problem! As far as I can tell, the cheapest and best way to do it is to book from Quito or from the Islands. However if you've got the money for the long tours (around £1,700) they sound the best. Personally I'd prefer the land tours because it means you can do what you like in the free time
