I am traveling Asia alone end of Jan 2013. Destinations: Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia - maybe Bali, Phillipines and China.
If anyone has any recommendations of companies to use for accommodation or tours or any general advice or tips it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm heading to Thailand at the end of jan, im travelling alone to (I'm a 27 yr female). I've been before but not alone. I'd say don't plan to much, look around for places to stay, barter with the price, always ask to see the room before you hand over cash, check the door locks and toilet flushes!
For tours, try a few different travel agents and tell them you can get it cheaper from he man down the street, you can sometime get it for half of what they originally ask for. I would recommend booking anything in advance, you don't know what your string until its there in front of you! I am there jan 26th. Has anyone done the great indochina loop tour before? I was thinking of doing it as all included or should I book as I go along and meet people along the way?

hi everyone traveling to Thailand on 28 January solo for around 2 months.Does anyone have any experience on where to go in Bangkok and where to go from then.If anyone fancy traveling round Thailand together or going to full moon party on 26 February.

Hey all
I'm 21 and backpacking in Thailand as we speak, I'm based in Koh Pah Ngan until Wednesday and then moving on.
I'm here until April 1st solo.
Kravitz don't stress too much about planning it, my first couple of days were a little stressful trying to figure it out as I went along but it's really easy to get around.
If anyone wants to meet up towards the end of Jan I'll be happy too.
