I'll be in Sydney at the start of January! Are you staying in Sydney long-term or travelling around a bit. I'm also heading out there by myself which is seems a bit daunting as it's my first time travelling, can't wait to get out there though!

I don't have any solid plans yet but I wanted to stay in Sydney for a bit and then look at travelling around after awhile.
I haven't booked my flights yet-still plucking up the courage. It's very scary.

Hi Claire, im travelling to Sydney at the end of November aswell, im travelling with some friends, and hoping to stay in Sydney for new years eve! x
That's pretty much my plans to be honest. I've got a hostel booked in Sydney for a week but after that I'm just going to go with the flow and pick up work wherever I can. Aha yeah I know the feeling! Trust me just suck it up and take the plunge! Once you've got it over and done with you'll feel much better, I literally booked everything in the space of about an hour. I'm English, I'm from Eastbourne which is in the South East, dunno if you've heard of it haha!
Hey! I'm also leaving from Dublin at the end of December....29th! Also going by myself! So nervous yet so excited!! What dates you planning on flying over??
Claire bear & Rachel Tess - I am looking at flights just now and its so much cheaper to fly from Dublin than Glasgow so I may be tempted to get the ferry over and fly from Dublin too

Hey guys (28/m here), just gonna jump in on this one! I'm in a similar position. Im heading over to Syndey in September, fist time going to Oz. Although im going over on my own i have loads of mates over there so thankfully have a place to stay when I arrive while i set my self up. I have no plans of where i will be going once i arrive so will be going with the flow.... Ill be there a few weeks by the time it seems that alot of you above are arriving but it would be well up for meeting new people and maybe help out if i can ! ..... im nervous about it all too but CANT WAIT!!!
Hey guys!! Def up for meeting up with folk when I get there!! I arrive first thing NYE morning!! Have a hostel booked for one week.... Then...... Let the fun begin!! Lol no solid plans! Like to go to Melbourne tho and then work my way up the East Coast! Have a friend who is just back after a year and absolutely loved it! Gilly are you looking toward the end of December also??
