Am I doing this too rushed?

Hey all,

This seems like a nice trip to me. I don't think it's too rushed. That said, I haven't been to a few of those places and for example Cesky Krumlov I only hear good things about, so maybe it's worth more than one night? Vienna I didn't find that exciting, so I'd happily take a night off that to allocate it to CK.

I like that you're only focussed on a few countries that are all sensibly in the same area and that you're visiting some of the smaller towns and cities rather than the usual well known ones. I think you'll find this a very good experience.

If course it is rushed. You realise that. Think of that as a rough itinerary and do as much of it as you can.

I think 2 days is enough for Vienna and one day for Salzburg.

As you are going back to Amsterdam, one day to look round to start with and as much as you can spare at the end.

Maybe another day in Berlin? It has a hop on-hop off bus tour and bike tour to find your way around. A city pass is fairly expensive but makes life easier, avoiding queues and such.

Kind of depends on what you like to do as well. If you like galleries, you can easily spend an entire day just at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Or the Van Gogh museum + Rijksmuseum in one day if you're a little less keen. If you don't care for art at all, then that frees up another day. Maybe you'd rather spend the day travelling out to the Keukenhof to look at flowers (April is pretty much the best time of year for this), or Kinderdijk to look at windmills. Of course, all these activities do add up in cost, so there's often a balance between paid entrance activities and trying to find free ones - top of those for me is just going for a very long walk around town

Similar story in a lot of those cities actually. Berlin in particular is a hugely diverse city with an endless choice of things to go see. Prague I actually found less so, due to its smaller size and the fact it was absolutely packed with tourists. It had a bit of a Disneyland feel to it for me. That was in peak season though, so you might find it easier in April.

It looks like a good itinerary, but I'd probably only spend 3 days in Amsterdam at the start, if that. Especially if you're returning at the end of the trip. I'd also probably only was 3 days maximum in Vienna and Prague. Good call on Berlin and Munich for the 4 days, though, you definitely need plenty of time in Berlin.

ya i agree with you guys , life is not so long so enjoy it before its too late , make sure you have very thing required to make your trip awsome also dont leave too many pending tasks back in your home town or else you will be rest less. Have a nice trip
