help with my Asia trip

Hi everyone!
Me and my friends(we are three) are planning a trip we would like to visit India, Laos, Cambodia, South Korea, Thailand, China, Japan. We don't know how much it will cost so i would appeciate an estime cost including the hotel. I would also like some suggestions on the weather and the best time to travel, including the best destinations in each country. We want to travel on january to march.

Hi,
North China is very cold in winter. In Beijing, you could have easily -10 °C with a dry cold wind blowing from the north. in Japan you could get snow.
Interesting experience but you must be prepared.
In addition Japan is very expensive.
For a cheaper trip and warmer wether you should prefer south asia: Laos, Cambodia and India are fine in January and February. I think south China could also be fine.
Angkor is a must for Cambodia and India is huge. My suggestion is you plan 2 weeks in Cambodia, 2 weeks in Laos, 2 weeks in Thailand and the rest in India.
With a tight schedule, you could also visit South China (Yunnan, Hong Kong, Guillin).
Enjoy your trip preparation

Thank you that helps a lot , yeah we've been thinking on spending less time in Japan because it's quite expensive. Do you know how much, I mean an estime cost of this trip? we are from the US

For the cost of plane tickets you can pull up a website for the airlines that fly from particular cities you need the ride at. Then you get a price based on your class, date you fly and from where to where. A simple Google check will give you some of the airlines that fly from major airports.

Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia will be cheaper than Japan, China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) Korea and Singapore.

Besides the cost of one way flights connecting various countries, you may have to pay for visas too for some of the countries.

You should work up a budget and see how much money you have to start with. Do your price search for various airlines. Know how much per night you can afford for hotel rooms and food.

Maybe save China, South Korea and Japan for another time. Fly round trip to Bangkok. From Thailand you can get to Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia overland. Maybe fly to Vietnam if you want. Get back to Bangkok for your ride back home. (Often round trip to Asia is cheaper than two one way flights.) Flying, bus or train back to Bangkok is not that expensive.

For some things you just have to do the math! Only you know how much money you can afford for this trip. If you are wealthy then anything is possible. As far as weather goes any Google search will give you temperatures and the weather to expect in each country.

I find that traveling with three people is a little more difficult than just two or even 4 people. Many hotels charge the same for 2 guests and often have beds to accommodate 2 people. A third person means a roll-away bed. Unless you will be staying in separate rooms or renting expensive suites.

Flights from America to Japan is easy to price. Pull up the airline and enter departure dates. (Delta, Japan Airlines, American Airlines, etc.) If you want you can also visit a travel agency and get them to give you some prices. You don't have to commit to any purchase. Flying from Asia back to America do the same price check.

Good luck.

I forgot this. When I fly from the US going through Japan to Bangkok often there is not a great difference in cost for the ride if it is just to Japan or fly 6 hours longer to Bangkok.

Pull up Delta or another airline and enter one way to Bangkok (Delta flies through Japan (NRT) and from there to Bangkok (BKK.) Sometimes the difference is less than $60! If flying from South America you have to do your own comparisons.

I'm in Beijing, China now, the weather here is warm, about 5 °C to 20 °C. The price for hotel in China is about 70-100$, and the level consumption is lower, you can eat delicious food everywhere. Suggest you go from Japan, then South Korea, China, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, last India. Have fun with your trip.
