Mallorca is a nice place, only 2-3 hours flight from mainland, not sure if it would be better for you to get flights to mainland and then from there or direct from Jersey, and where I like to stay is a lovely little village centrally located, called Sineu. Great pizza place not too far I go to on my first night every time. Have a look at the place I stay at and see if it might suit you, and the weather would be better than the uk but not blistering hot but cold either.

Fly into Newcastle, spend 1 evening 1 night 1 morning there - interesting architecture etc - then head over to the Lake District for 2 days/2 nights, then back from Newcastle. The Lake District is the most stunningly beautiful part of England.
I think Exeter, plus Dartmoor or Exmoor, is a good suggestion too.
Fly to Bristol in an hour.
Take a train or bus to Bath for the Roman Baths and a tour around the country villages of Avebury, Lacock and Castle Combe and Stonehenge a bit further away.
There is also what looks to be a nice walk around the outskirts of Bath.
I am doing that myself in July, minus Bristol, although I may get there too.

mybe in 2/3 days you'll be exhausted rushing at the end
