The only experience I have had is with a German friend of mine who goes over the border and then re-enters! I really don;'t know what Home Affairs will do.....they have improved their services a lot I believe but can't say for sure what would happen....Hope this helps

Just a thought - you would need to be out of the country for a little while before re-entering! I believe that Home Affairs do allow extensions for a fee (about 50 Euro)...

Was he at the end of his 90 days ? meaning: do you have to do it 28 days before the end of your visa ?
