Any sugggestion where should I go from London in 36 hours? Paris? Armsterdam?
Hi There
Why do you only have 36 hours? Is this 36 hours to get there look round & leave or it can only be 36 hours to travel there max?
If you mean 36 hours to get there look round etc then Paris would probably be your best bet. Fastest way to get there would be on the Eurostar which takes around 2.5hrs to get from London St Pancras to Paris. Rates are very flexible depending on when you travel & how far in advance but the cheapest return journey would be around £69.00.
If you are willing to fly you can get budget flights with easyjet, ryanair etc but the airports will be just outside London so you would spend most of your time getting to & from the airport.
Amsterdam is also very easily accessible by plane.
You could stay in the UK and go and see Bath, or Oxford, or Cardiff. Could travel by coach too from Victoria Coach Station and if you book online there are often discounted tickets.
Hey there!
If you book a cheap flight you could go to most European capital in no time.
I don´t know either if you just have 36hrs in total.
Paris is certainly an option, or Berlin, Brussels.
Depends what you are interested in. Take a look the ryanair, easyjet and airlines like that, and decide on the flight prices.
Have a nice trip wherever you end up!
If you have 36 hours to travel, and looking for the cheapest, it is definitely the bus. Eurolines are always cheap and travel from London to Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam, and even Megabus are now travelling to Brussels and Paris and can be even cheaper.
If however you only have 36 hours, I'd suggest either Eurostar, which can be quite expensive, but A LOT faster, or choose a destination within the UK to go to.
These days Ryanair are far cheaper than Eurolines if you book in advance. I'd look at Barcelona (not Girona) and take the subway into town.
