I Haven't travelled for 10 years due to back problems. I want to travel from London Heathrow, looking for somewhere hot, 4 hours max on a plane because of my back problem.
I can't think of anywhere hot which doesn't get cold at night, all I'd say is you're better off by the sea than inland as the maritime humidity will help regulate the temperature, as opposed to a desert where it gets much colder overnight.
Canary Islands?
Most other places within 4 hrs of LHR I wouldn't call hot in Dec/Jan, or they're surrounded by desert. :-)
