Hey all , was thinking of going asia in 2013 but im now thinking of going to NZ for a while to work there to save for asia so would be in NZ anywhere up to a year then stopping at asia on the way back to london with the money i have made , just wondered if anybody is thinking of doing the same thing?. It will be after march in the new year

hey katie i was thinking of doing the same however i was looking to go when i finished my second year of uni in may. Im going to thialand oz and NZ just over 3 months and wanna go in NZ in june or july for skiing

Hey guys yes that's exactly what I'm doing except I already live in Nz now but originally from uk, i want to do Asia first the bk to uk for a last summer with me family then to oz as I will have citizenship of Nz n oz by then. So when u looking to come to Nz? :-)
I think you'll find in NZ, assuming you find a job, that most of your money goes on living there so don't expect to have bundles of cash to spend in Asia.

I actually found that I managed to save a lot in NZ, and I wasn't earning a huge wage. I think it's much easier to save in NZ than it is in the UK, where I always seem to be skint! I think it's easier to get by on a small amount in NZ; everyone has different experiences though I guess.
hey thanks for your comments ,yeh i lived in oz for a year and it was expensive but i saved heaps as i just done alot of free things like beach all day on my day off . hopefully il save enough to live in and travel on , eek fingers crossed
