I am flying into Hong Kong on Tuesday 1 January for a 1 night stop-over. I arrive at 5.00pm local time, and have a room booked at Sa Po Road in Kowloon. The hotel does offer a 2 way shuttle service. Are there alternative modes of transportation, that are both reliable and not too expensive? In the evening I want to watch a soccer match at Delaneys bar in Wanchai. This will finish at 01.00pm on Wednesday. Advice on how best to get to hotel from there at this hour of the night would be very much appreciated. Is a taxi the only means given the late hour? If yes, what fare should I expect to pay for the journey? Is it possible to ask the driver at the outset what the likely fare will be?
