I have a tourist visa which from what i can gather lasts me 60 days,my trip is 63 days.so i guess ill have to extend for another 30 days unless there is a workaround for the extra few days.my question is can i do it before the 60 days are up at my convienience or will i have to wait till its expired. thanks and nice site you have here with loads of info
If you are sure it's only going to be 3 days then just over stay your visa and pay the fine when you leave. I think it's about 500bht per day. It's not a big deal to be fined for this and leaves no record against you. They just want the money!
Harry,
You can go to any Immigration office to extend your 60 day visa: 1,900 baht for 30 days. Go before your visa expires. This will keep you legal and only costs 400 baht more than overstaying and paying the fine. Good luck.
