I am going to Costa Rica for the summer (3 months). I already have my plane ticket to get there, I leave on June 13. Embassy website says I need to have proof of my exit, either plane ticket out or something of that sort. I don't have that at the moment and I wasn't planning on getting that before I leave, is it absolutely necessary? Also, do I need to do anything before hand for the visa to stay for 3 months (90 days)?
Hey
When I entered CR from Nicaragua a few years ago I wasn't asked about my return... Neither have I heard about anyone else being questioned about it...
One guy I met had covered himself by buying a fully refundable business class ticket, which he then cancelled once he had gotten through the airport check...
Personally, I had made a fake print of an e-ticket, but as I said, I wasn't asked to actually show it...
Cheers
