I only just saw this, but you did post in the Central and South America section! I hope you enjoyed it as it is quite a mixture of serious runners and people in costumes just having fun. I hear runners weren't allowed backpacks this year because of the Boston bombings and had to use waist packs instead.

Google the stats for past winners and you can see when the Africans started to come in first. I hear the weather was good too. Glad you enjoyed it.
Yea, weather was pretty good, it was totally fog free which is really a perfect setting for the costumed foot racer to jogg. Enjoyed fully
