Can anyone recommend good hostels or guesthouses to stay in while I’m in Seoul and Busan?
In Seoul I stayed at the Open Guest House, which I've just found out is now called B & J guesthouse. It was a friendly and sociable little place in a good location.
Hi Kea, the two places I can recommend are;
Dalkom House in Seoul this place is absolutely immaculate, it’s got such vibrant colors and is kept spotlessly clean by the hostel staff. It’s located right next to a subway station and has some great restaurants and convenience stores next to it to. The staff are super helpful when it comes to finding your way around the city and giving advice on what sites to check out. I highly recommend it.
LZone Hostel in Busan this hostel is located in the busy University district of Kyungsung, it is fantastic if you want some cheap food and lots of parties. The hostel is linked to a language learning café around the corner, so you can visit there and interact with local Korean students who are trying to learn English by practicing with native speakers. Every week they have an all you drink beer party which is awesome and around the corner from the hostel is an all you can eat buffet that is really cheap.
