hi, next year plan to visit Thailand, this is my 2nd visit after almost 15 year to bangkok hahaha....
Either fly to Krabi on or from BKK. You can access Phi Phi from either Krabi or Phuket. Krabi is cheaper than Phuket to stay, eat and ferry costs to Phi Phi. I suggest you give Phuket a miss and enjoy Krabi town and nearby beaches.

Pattaya got a reputation for being a sex tourist city many years ago. Well deserved I must say. One of the reasons I went there! But now there is plenty to see/do beyond the girlie bars. Plenty of live entertainment, great restaurants, shopping, sports, decent beach option on nearby Koh Larn. might help if you choose to hit KL for some beach time. Beach during the day, great nightlife, not a bad choice for a few days.

anyway i already go to thailand. i feel is ok to go pattaya for atleast 1 day to know and hang around.
