I downloaded a photo and tried to insert it in the body of my blog. I clicked on the regular size and a window appears saying. "Open in URL ", etc.
I have inserted other photos in my two blog entries before so I don't know what I am doing wrong.
It says "open in new tab" , "copy link in URL". etc.
It sounds like you're right-clicking on the link rather than left clicking. Could it be that you're using a different mouse and it's behaving differently to normal? The text you describe is exactly what you would get when right-clicking on links.
I am using an iPad so I have no mouse. Just using my fingernail to click on "regular" size.
I think with iOS it's a case of how long you press down for. So if you press and hold you get the "context menu" vs just tapping quickly it should generate the click.
Oh and just to be clear then - is this on the main site "www" or on the mobile site (m.travellerspoint.com)?
I am using the main site. I tried quickly tapping but still no photo insert. I'll try again later.
It is several hours later and I still can't insert the photo. I tried to insert a different one too but it also would not work
Hi oinchats, have you ever had this working on an iPad? Because it's a popup that the image selector appears in, I don't think there is any way it can work. Unfortunately Safari on my iPad just dies entirely every time I open it. I did try on Chrome on the iPad though and found it did the same thing you described. This is not something that is easy to work around without entirely changing how that system works.
If you need to add photos to your entry, I'd suggest for now you can use the blogging form at which is designed to work with touch devices. It does lack a few of the features from the www site, but photo inserting there is definitely possible.
