Hoi An to Mui Ne (Vietnam) - How do we get there?

Zara Tom,
As I read the, you have to go over to DaNang to head south for Mui Ne. Pick the best train for your schedule. Or take the overnight bus to Nha Trang, have a beach day in NT, or hop on a bus heading for MN. If I remember right, you get into NT about 6am. Bus for MN leaves around 9am. Have BF and head for MN. Good luck with your VN holiday.

Thanks Vegasmike6 this is the same train timetable that we were looking at. Fingers crossed the SE7 will be running so we can catch this and will do a stop over in Nha Trang before continung the journey. The overnight bus is a struggle for Tom - lack of space as he's really tall so train is the best option for us.

The overnight bus is a challenge for those that are average height. Certainly would not be fun for a tall person! I have heaps of photos of all these stops, as well.

You some information about SE7 train from Hoi An to Mui Ne: you have to move to Da Nang station to buy a ticket, the train will start from 22:13 at Da Nang to Phan Thiet Day at 11:36 next day.
From Phan Thiet station take Mui Ne about 30-40 minutes, you can by bus (9 codes) or taxi.

Thank you. We've got our train tickets for the SE7 which goes to Binh Thuan. What is the best way to then get to Mui Ne?

Hope this ans is not to late. You cant buy a train ticket to get to HCMC then take a bus to go to Mui Ne. Or the best and fast way to get there is flight to HCMC and hire a car from HCMC to Mui Ne. Private is better coz the public bus the terrible.
