The facebook feed is not working properly

I am using the app on facebook to automatically post on my wall when I publish a new blog. Just bugging out when I set the blog to delay the publishing.

So I uploaded a few blogs that I have delayed their publishing for a few days, however on my facebook the notification that I have uploaded those blogs has been posted. When you click the notification in facebook it takes you to the 'Whoops cant find the page' page.

I think this should be fixed so that the facebook notification doesn't appear until the blog is accessible.

I haven't met such problem yet. But I think that has something to do with Facebook's end and not on Traveller's Point blogs. However, check your settings further (both on Facebook and your blog).

Kyle, just to follow up, I think I have found the reason, but am checking with Peter as don't want to touch this code if I've read it wrong. I'll let you know once it's updated!

Hey everyone, this should be fixed now. There was indeed a bug causing it to push to FB straight away.

A small change to the behaviour previously - it used to published to Facebook even if you didn't have the "Notify subscribers" option ticked. Now it won't do that either.

Also, I've made some improvements to handle situations where the Facebook linkup has stopped working. This can happen for a few different reasons. I'm not entirely clear on all the ways it happens. In any case, now if the link has been broken, you will receive an email the first time it fails letting you know that it failed. And that email contains a link to the FB app so you can grant the privileges needed to publish to your wall. That's usually the issue with posting.

Hope that resolves the main issues! Let us know if you find new ones

Hey sorry to be a pain but now it seems it's not working at all. I just put up a new blog entry and nothing came up in facebook. I tried removing the app and re-adding it as well as republishing the blog, but still nothing. I also double checked the app's rights and everything seems fine and is allowed. Any ideas?

Were these regularly published entries or future published ones. Oh, also - does your blog have any subscribers?
