Hi all!!
If a couple of quid per day is wrecking your budget then simply stay in dorm accommodation.
Cheers,
Terry
its an extra 15 a day were we had found to stay. maybe dorms are the way forward
Im currently planning my solo trip out to thailand in december and wondering the same thing. How much should i expect to be spending a month in Thailand backpacking around? whats the cheapest form of housing, Hostel,, hotel, grouphome, ect?
keep on keeping on,
steven
Hi steven,
I found places for as little as £8 a night in bangkok but over full moon period in koh panang can cost about £15. this was with splitting the double rooms of course with my mate.. will have to re asses my accommodation now im going lone wolf!
Matt
Hey Matt,
The majority of accommodation will be cheap for a solo traveller as long as you're using hostel or guest house accommodation. For the full moon party, the majority of places do have bungalows which sleep 2 - 4 people but there are hostels and guest houses which should accommodate your need. Have a browse online, i'm pretty sure you'll find something to match your criteria. Also, July is termed as high season and prices generally do go up especially for the FMP so you could expect to pay between £10 - £15 per night.
Hope that helps.
