how much would you recomend i take to travell europe for about 6 months

Europe is expensive in the West and cheaper in the East - where are you going?
You should try for a few bases, and travel about from them. That way accommodation will be bearable but travel is still expensive.
June, July, August are the expensive months, with kids on holiday and lots of crowds everywhere. Other months, the weather may be bad to very bad in most countries but maybe OK in southern Europe.
How much it costs will depend where you are, and what kind of lifestyle you want. For me I would like (outside summer) £1,500 a month for Spain and £2,500 a month for London. And that is living fairly cheaply and not too many trips.
Your question is WAY too general to answer with any sense of accuracy.
