Seville is a town where Spanish people live. That means casual dress when out and about and something a little smart when eating out and such. The Spanish dress well.
It should be hot in September and even in December days can be 20.C though at the other end it could be below 10.C. Cold nights will start in November and in December, snow is possible. An umbrella (small telescopic) is handy too as there will be some wet days.
Even when Seville is cold, you might find on a short bus ride away on the Costa del Sol (south coast), you can spend a weekend in the sun. Or even in Portugal's Algarve if you feel like it.
