hi guys~~~can we together? my travelling from 23th DEC to 3rd JAN...there is my planning:

Hồ Chí Minh city---Mui Ne（ maybe enjoy my CHRISTMAS at here)---Da Lat---Nha Trang( NEW YEAR event)--HCMC
plan b:
HCMC---Nha Trang----DA lat----mui ne( maybe here will have a new year party at beach)---hcmc
- all routes, i will take sleep bus,
- my routes and events are flexible~~
- budget: around u.s.$500

You don't list your home country or where you are flying from. If you don't have any success finding an affordable flight into SGN, then perhaps flying into BKK makes more sense. Then hop on an flight: DMK-SGN.
I think a good place to spend Christmas might be. Cool, green, pretty. It will certainly feel more like winter than HCMC. is a party town and might be a good choice for NYE. My suggested route would be: HCMC 23rd, bus up to DaLat on 24th. Bus over to NT around the 28th. NYE in NT, overnight bus back to HCMC on 2nd. You get in early am on the 3rd, flight home.
Accommodations: Most budget visitors stay in the Pham Ngu Lao area of HCMC. De Tham St. Heaps of low cost rooms in this area. covers mini-hotel alley, DaLat & NT. Top of this page has a option labeled: 'Accommodation'. Select VN, then your cities. It lists highest rated places first. You are going in the busiest time period of the year. You might want to book ahead of time because of this. Good luck with your planning.
