What to do after landing at Bangkok at 1.20 am from Korea?

My tthree colleagues and I will be returning to India from Korea at Bangkok at 1.20 am on Sunday, and have a connecting flight at 6.10 am to India. Is there any way we can move to the city at this hour, enjoy nightlife and be back at the airport at least 120 mins before the Thai Airways flight takes off for India ? Can anyone please suggest. Thanks.

Stay at the airport in the transit area. Get yourself some burgers and fries (not too badly overpriced).

You could get a taxi into Bangkok but most entertainment, bars, markets, etc is shutting down or finished at that time.

You have to be at the airport by 4:10 a.m. You would have to allow time for the taxi from and back to the airport - I don't think this is enough time in Bangkok to be worthwhile! Although bars do close at 2 the streets around Nana area of Sukhumvit Road will still be alive with tourists for a while. If you think it is worth paying for two taxi rides and maybe even a visa fee - up to you! Approximately 350 baht to get to the Nana area of Bangkok. This does include 50 baht surcharge, toll charges and meter fare. Fifty baht cheaper going back to the airport. Have small bills available for paying taxi drivers. Look up some of the old posts on taxis from and to the airport.

You can eat cheap at the airport 24 hours a day at the Magic Food Point. This food court is on the first floor, not far from where the meter taxi (Public Taxi) sign up desks are located.

- Maybe fly to Bangkok a day early and then visit nightlife and shop with a little more room to spare.
