I am hoping to stay in Sydney over Christmas and New Year and i'm after some advice on where to stay. I hope to have a campervan by then but is it a good idea to book a hostel over the period or would it be easiest to just stay in the campervan in a campsite, or even road side......
Hello im in sydney at this time too and im hostelling it! If you want a hostel get in there quick as they seem to be filling up fast. campers are cool but it all depends on how you wanna spend your christmas really? do you wanna be out having fun with lots of people at a hostel or with whoever your campervanning it with? x x x

Hey, yeah i was hoping to find somewhere for the week and leave the campervan there and then not have to worry about sleeping in it drunk etc. Plus it would be nice to have a bed over that period meeting people and being able to suffer hungover in a bed! I plan on staying in a hostel it's just availability and cost at this time

I paid quite a bit for two weeks accomodation. for me and my friend it cost over 1000 pound but this is for christmas and new year for two weeks and they organzine chriatmas and new year for us. We are staying at surfside. If you cant get any where just come and join us at bondi on the day sleep on the beach and see the sunrise next day. not there yet... only nine more sleeps!! Aghhhhh
You must be getting excited now !! Im sure im not the only one in this predicament.. The thought has crossed my mind believe me....!! I think il buy myself a tent...

We're 3 travellers in Adelaide at the mo going to Melbourne tomorrow and will be in Sydney for Christmas does any1 know what bondi beach is like on Christmas day? And what's the BBQ situation? Bring your own? Thanks
