Hey guys!
I'm traveling around Asia next year and Peninsulan Malaysia is part of my travel - I'd like to explore the Cameron Highlands and Taman Negara National Park.
Basically my question is, where is it best to stay whilst seeing these places? - Is there adequate accommodation in these areas or are surrounding towns preferable? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, there is adequate accommodation in both. Taman Negara is in the heart of the jungle so there are no towns that you could stay in if you want to experience the park properly. There are plenty of guesthouses along the river; the Cameron Highlands also has a range of accommodation options.
