My name is Dáithí (Irish for David). I'm sure you will have a ball, I'm hoping to go to Sydney in early-mid Feb on a working holiday visa. Everyone is in the same boat, I'm nervous just researching and planning what to do. My best advice is to research what you can, plan ahead. I'm contacting people I know in OZ, making contacts and sending out CVs. Decide what you want to do and go for it.
I purchased a city guide to Sydney. I will work for a while and then travel, before working to obtain a second year visa. There are hundreds of great websites like the lonelyplanet and bbmlive.com. Super excited already
