My husband and I plan to travel this June to Madrid, Munich (hope to visit Neuschwanstein Casle, Church Meadow, Steingaded), Zermatt (Matterhorn) and maybe Italy, for about 30 days, flying from New York or San Francisco.
What European country should we begin and end?
What is the most efficient way to schedule, map out the trip?
We do not want to drive and plan on using public transportation. Cost estimates, to/from places would be appreciated.
We have a very limited budget and plan to stay at hostels or airbnb near train stations.
