just gone through your post,
I am travelling solo to Phuket on 28 Feb, and will be there till March 4th.
few things that i would like to share with you:-
One, i am staying at Karen Beach in a 4 star hotel with 8.7 rating, in a executive suite.
they quoted me 3000 Thb but i negotiated the price and get the best room in 2400 Thb.
if you are traveling and would like to accompany me then feel free to join.
Plus, never made payments in advance always make it on arrival, it will save your money and help in making last minute better options. Plus dont forget to negotiate.
i am flexible on dates, if you have any change in plans feel free to touch base.

I will be travelling Bkk during 2nd march and will in Thai for 3 weeks
I am coming alone and this is my first trip and looking for a travel buddies, I have not fully planned my trips may be if i stay i might look to opt for one room.
Since I did not travel before I am not sure about the class of the accommodation but I am very much ok with sharing the rooms.

Tanu, this is also going to be our first time, but we come prepared, so you are welcome to join us if we happen to be in one place at the same time :-) Must warn you, though, that we are not into partying, so many travellers to Thailand may find us boring :-) Also, we are going to move a lot, as we would like to explore as much of the country as possible (so many travellers to Thailand may find us tiring, too :-) The plan is as follows:
8 March to 12 March - Bangkok, with day-trips to 1) Ayuttaiya, 2) Hua Hin and Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park
12 March to 16 March - Siem Reap, Cambodia, to see Angkor and stuff
16 March to 18 March - Pattaya
18 March to 22 March - Phuket with day-trips to 1) Phi Phi, Pha Nga Bay and such, 2) Khao Sok National Park
