Hey guys i recently decided that i want to take a month off from life and travel the Asian/Pacific side of life. My main plan is start in India, then visit a friend in Thailand ( where she will take care of my tour), continue to Bali, and end in China. I will be traveling by myself and would like to know if anyone has ever done this route before, if so any guided tours that include hotel stay, transportation, meals etc would be greatly appriciated. Also must go places, advice, things to do. Keep in mind i am a college grad. with student loans. Id love to just rent a bicycle and be able to explore on my own every once in a while, doesnt have to be "luxury" and i would love to see the hidden places that venture outside of the tourist attractions.
Just a few tips here. First of all, you're talking one month, and a great deal of real estate - too much real estate! In enormous countries like India and China, you could easily spend 30 days just traveling around one country. I really thought college grads had more savvy?
You first have to do more research - hit your local book store!
Have you looked into airline flights? And, you might be able to only spend a couple days in one city in each country. If you're looking for a guided tour, they might plan something running 5-, 7-days in once location. You'd be luck to find one company that goes everyone, in a month, and on a budget. You can travel to these countries by yourself, assuming you are of that character. You can rent a bike and sleep cheaply nearly anywhere in these countries too.
I guess the first question is how much cash do you have? That's an epic amount of miles for 1 month! Alot of flying i think.
Realistically you could spend that month in any of these countries (Bali aside), and barely touch the surface, i personally spent 5 months in China alone and could have filled another couple with things to do.
If your main objective is stamps stick with the basic Thailand, Cambodia, Laos route, still alot for a month but manageable at a gallop.

P.S. I realise Bali is an island not a country.
India/Thailand/Bali/China is a crazy schedule for only one month. You're not accomplishing anything except entry stamps in your passport. Do a little research and narrow it down a bit.
