hi guys im 22 male from uk, im looking to pack my bags and try to experience what the world has to offer, only i have no idea where to start, or how much money i need to start.
any help or advice will be apreciated.
Congrats on the plan. Do it! Some key things to consider:
- First, you will need a vague plan for a destination. Advice on how much money needed for Japan is useless if you want to go to Mozambique...
- Decide the length of time you are travelling for - short break, extended backpacking trip, or work your way across the world.
- Save more money than required so you can enjoy the experience and not count cents.

well i want to go as long as possible, potentially become a long term traveler if all goes well.
only at the minute its hard for me to save money as i have a dead end low pay job.
i have a trade but its hard to find work here, so hopefully it can help me work my way around the world.
advice on destinations for work and life experience would be greatly received.
i would like to chat with people who make travel there life also.

For cheap travel in general you might want to look at South East Asia. For countries you can work in, check out this list of working holiday agreements: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Working_holiday_visa.

I am grateful for the advice, im saveing money and hoping to get a plan together and start my travels at the end of this year, it's all very exciting and nerve racking and everyone I talk to says I will never regret it, it's become my life ambition now so in my head there's no going back, :-)
