So I'm travelling alone to Australia in November and starting to get a little scared and wondered if anyone else was doing anything similar and wanted to meet up at all?

i am plannig on going in november and i actaully cant wait...although have to say i was a little worried about being too old (ill be 26 too)

Are you going alone or with friends? I went to man up and do my visa today and then realised my passport is going to run out while im out there so now trying to do that!!

i want to go to australia and work and travel around the country and then move on to asia and do the like of thailand etc but up for anything really
i have just signed up for TEFL course so i can teach english when am in asis too

I'm heading out in October 2013 with 2 friends, we start in Perth and are looking to be over in Melbourne from December.
You never know, we may cross paths!!

Oh yes we may do! I plan to go to adelaide first for a week as I have family there just to get over jet lag etc and then go to brisbane and do a tour round fraser island for a few days then and then find work in brisbane and earn the money to travel around.
I've worked within sales for years so could do something sales related but to be honest I want to go out and do traveller jobs such as fruit picking and bar work etc just to get me the money to move forward some more.

I'm heding out early november and no plans and im getting scared about what im doing lol! I'm thinking of heading to the south first - best weather at that time of year!!
Claire - the auuzie government say you should have 5000 oz dollars for the working holiday visa which converts to around 3300 so thats what i've aimed for... got that ready but booking flights etc out of that so need to carry on saving to make that back up and then sell my car to help too lol
