Hi everyone, I'm a 21 year old girl from London, looking to go travelling to Australia either in October or November...alone. Really don't have a clue on how much I need to save up, so can someone going around the same time or so please help? and I would love to make a travel buddy before I actually go through with everything- visas/tickets etc..thanks

I was thinking about doing the trip to Thailand first and then to go Australia from there, still considering it!
I looked into accommodation in sydney/melbourn (hostels) they look pretty decent, with good prices as well, flights are coming around 600- 800, not sure on how much money to save and what to budget on.
What about yourself, how long do you plan to go for?

ah sounds good, do you have an idea on how much you would need to save/budget on ? As i'm so stuck on how much money I need to save and what should be the minimum amount!
well, i plan on getting a working holidays visa for australia so whatever i spend before i can then save up again in AUSTRALIA. i budgeted more or less $1,000ish for a month in NZ (flights from america included). a lot will be used to travel by bus, and for activities.
as per australia itself, i'll get a job there asap so i can take my time and enjoy this incredible country to the fullest extent.

I know exactly what you mean, a tad bit nervous travelling on my own as this will be my first time! Do you plan to head over to Australia first? I was planning to go Sydney and decide from there onwards.
How much money would you roughly take with you, Im so stuck on how much I would need to save!
