Hey I am a 20 year old female travelling alone to Australia to hopefully work and travel, I have been granted a working holiday visa, but wondered whether I should look into doing a group trip like Oz intro to help build my confidence or whether I should just book a hostel for the first week and see where I end up.. Any advice will be a great help.
Hey Naomi! :D, if your going straight to Oz i would do the Intro as its a good way to meet people and you wont feel so alone the first week when you get there, i have friends in Oz who have said that if they had any tip it would be that! as for me im travelling around asia first so im hoping to meet people there to travel to oz with in december!
i think i'll be heading for Perth first but would be good to meet up if our paths cross!

Thanks for your message, that is really helpful! I think I will book onto the trip then as it also includes an australian bank account, tax file number and sim card so it would be pretty handy! Well I will be in Sydney in December

Sounds great, can't wait to go now! I have booked onto Oz Intro for my first week in Australia then just going to see how things go, as I want to work for a little bit then hit up the East Coast, go to New Zealand for a couple of weeks then off to Thailand for a few weeks I will definitely be up for a FEW drinks!

I will probably head to Thailand in an ideal world around mid June as I want to spend about 6 weeks there. How about you? When are you flying out? MY flight is on Saturday 30th November So excited now!!
