Panama city has lots of attractions, to start with Plaza de Francia, this beautiful plaza pays homage to the French role in the construction of the canal. If you like visiting museuems, then you should definetly visit Panama Canal Museum, there are great exhibits over there. Before going you should take note that signs inside the museums are in Spanish, but English-speaking guides and audiotours are also available.
You can also visit Panamá Viejo Ruins, while visiting the ruins, be sure to look at the excellent architecture as well as the historic importance of the site. And for shopping, you can visit Karavan , an amazing place where you can find authentic Kuna embroidery with contemporary designs and Congo art from Portobelo. Other than that, El Dorado Mall is also a good place for shopping.
